A 150 year-old traditional storehouse designed by renowned Japanese architect, Yoshifumi Nakamura.

Enjoy an exceptional stay at a traditional Japanese storehouse. The thick earthen walls of the house create a quiet space that envelops you.
The glamping site is fully equipped with Snow Peak camping equipment, open-air baths, beds, and air conditioning to ensure a comfortable glamping experience for everyone.

Design management
Architect Yoshifumi Nakamura

Born in Kujukuri-cho, Chiba in 1948. Graduated from Musashino Art University, Department of Architecture.
After working at Shishido Architects, he studied furniture making in the woodworking department of the Tokyo Metropolitan Shinagawa Vocational Training School. From 1976-1980, he worked at Junzo Yoshimura Design Office, assisting Yoshimura in furniture making. In 1981, he established his own design office, working mainly in residential architecture and also in furniture making. In 1993, he received the 18th Yoshida Isshachi Award Special Prize for "A. In 1993, he was awarded a special prize at the 18th Yoshida Isoya Prize for a 'series of residential works.'
He loves the essays of Juzo Itami and designed the Juzo Itami Memorial Museum, which opened in 2007. He is also known as an essayist who introduces various buildings, and has been continuously writing as well as working as an architect for 20 years

The amount is for a single unit rental for 2 persons.

  • ※If you would like a futon for a preschool child, we will prepare a futon for you for 3,300 yen per person (including tax.)
  • ・KURA only has 2 beds, so if the maximum number of guests is 4, a futon will be provided.
  • ・Additional food only will be 3,300 yen (tax included)/person.
  • ・Groups in which all members are under 20 years old are not permitted.
  • ・Drinking alcohol under the age of 20 is strictly prohibited.
  • ・It May not be possible to change your leaving time if our staff are otherwise engaged
  • 【 Accompanying Dogs 】
  • ・They can stay with us free of charge (please contact us for more than 3 dogs).
  • ・We may charge for repairs if the facility's rules of use are violated (dogs are to be kept caged or in the dirt floor area, please) or if the facility is found to be soiled or damaged.

Travel from Otaki Station, take a cab to Marugayatsu for about 10 minutes (about 1,200 yen)
